Kedarnath Yatra

Kedarnath, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India, is nestled in the majestic Himalayas at an altitude of 3,583 meters in Uttarakhand. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is part of the Char Dham Yatra and holds immense spiritual significance as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. The temple, believed to be over a thousand years old, is constructed with massive stone slabs, showcasing an architectural marvel that has withstood the test of time, including devastating natural calamities.

The journey to Kedarnath is an experience of unparalleled beauty and devotion. Starting from Haridwar or Rishikesh, pilgrims travel through Guptkashi and Gaurikund before embarking on a 16 km trek to the temple. The route is adorned with breathtaking views of lush valleys, cascading waterfalls, and snow-capped peaks. For those unable to trek, ponies, palkis, and helicopter services are available.
